Your customers are asking AI assistants "best [your category] in [your city]" — but your business isn't being recommended. There is always a reason. The good news: every one of them has a fix.

1. You Have No Schema.org Structured Data

AI engines — especially ChatGPT and Copilot, which run on Bing — look for Schema.org JSON-LD first when trying to understand a business. If this data is missing or incomplete, AI either ignores your business entirely or interprets it with incorrect information.

Schema.org defines your business name, address, category, hours, and services in a standard format that machines can process. If this data isn't on your web page, you don't exist for AI purposes.

Fix: Generate Schema.org JSON-LD and embed it in your public business page. mytrend.ai does this automatically.

2. Bing Has Not Indexed You Yet

ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot use Bing for web search. If Bing hasn't crawled your site — or hasn't seen your recently updated page — these platforms cannot include you in their answers.

Standard web crawling can take weeks or even months. The IndexNow protocol shortens this dramatically: it sends an instant notification to Bing when content changes, and your content is indexed within 24–48 hours.

Fix: Publish on a platform with IndexNow integration, or manually submit your URLs via Bing Webmaster Tools.

3. Your Business Information Is Inconsistent

When AI encounters conflicting information from different sources, it questions reliability and may exclude you from its answer. A different address on your website, a different phone number on Google, a different name on social media — these inconsistencies create doubt.

Fix: Ensure your business name, address, and phone number (NAP) are identical across all platforms: website, Google Business Profile, social media.

4. Your Content Is Only in One Language

AI engines query in the user's language. If your website or profile only has Turkish content, you're invisible to users querying in English or from international platforms. Additionally, English is far more heavily represented in AI training data, so bilingual content significantly boosts overall visibility.

Fix: Prepare your business description, service list, and FAQ content in both Turkish and English.

5. You Don't Have an llms.txt File

llms.txt is a new standard designed specifically for large language models — it gives AI a concise, structured summary of your business. Without it, AI models are more likely to hallucinate details about your business or misrepresent it.

Fix: Create an llms.txt profile for your business. mytrend.ai generates and maintains it automatically.

6. Your Business Profile Is Incomplete or Vague

AI cannot generate a reliable answer from a profile full of vague or missing information. A profile that says "a service business" can never compete with one that says "a dental clinic in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, specializing in teeth whitening and implants, open Monday–Saturday 09:00–19:00."

Fix: Fill in category, service list, opening hours, address, phone, customer FAQs, and keywords completely.

7. You Don't Have a Google Business Profile

Google Gemini uses Google Search and Google Business Profile data. If your profile doesn't exist or isn't verified, the fundamental signal Gemini needs to recognize you is missing.

Fix: Create and verify your Google Business Profile, and fill in your category and services completely.
